Failure
The running low by supply estimate displayed on the NDD Orbix portal does not match the consumption observed on the equipment.
Cause
The equipment does not yet have a sufficient history of consumption, supply exchanges, and page yield for the calculation to be reliable.
During the first few cycles, the displayed date should be considered an initial estimate, as the portal is still building the equipment’s consumption history.
Solution

On the NDD Orbix portal, confirm the start date of equipment monitoring (first recorded reading of the supply)

Check the supply history and verify how many exchanges have already been recorded for the equipment, as instructed at View information on supplies in use or exchanged for the printer

Verify that production meter readings are being collected regularly, without long periods without communication, as instructed at View printer meter information

Monitor the second and third complete exchange cycles for the same supply
Avoid using the first consumption cycle as a definitive estimate, since it provides only an initial consumption reference.
The accuracy of the estimate tends to improve progressively and is usually more reliable starting with the fourth exchange cycle for the same supply. -
Use the portal’s running low by estimate with greater confidence only after a consistent history of exchanges and yield has been established

Periodically compare the estimated running low by date displayed by the portal with actual consumption (actual exchange dates)

If the difference remains high even after several cycles, verify which meter is being used and whether the material’s capacity is correctly registered in the system
