  • Location: Devices > New devices

Devices automatically identified by the agent are now initially registered in the Devices > New devices menu, where they can be classified as managed or unmanaged before being added to the NDD Orbix inventory.

After identification, devices will remain available in the Devices > New devices menu for up to 15 days for classification. If no action is taken within this period, they will automatically be considered managed.

While in the Devices > New devices menu, devices will not be considered for billing purposes. However, data collection will continue as usual.

The initial classification defines the device’s status after it is identified, but the management status can be changed later, as instructed at:

With this feature, the provider gains greater control over newly identified devices and can assess which equipment should be integrated into the managed environment before it is included in billing.
