New features
Automatic capture of network printer data
Capture allows you to automatically fill in the following fields for network printers, based on the information available in the equipment's MIB:

Printer name
-
Location address
-
Location contact name
This update allows network printer configurations to be automatically replicated on the NDD Orbix portal, ensuring greater accuracy and efficiency in management. By automating the capture of this data, manual rework is avoided, reducing the risk of errors caused by repetitive or inconsistent entries.
As a result, the process of registering and updating network printers becomes more agile and less susceptible to human failure, in addition to keeping information always up to date and in accordance with the equipment's MIB data.

Improvements
Improvement in the digital signature of installer files (Agent: DCA and Cloud Connector)
The digital signature process for the files that make up the installer has been improved. All files are now signed in a standardized manner, reinforcing the reliability of the installation package.

The DCA and Cloud Connector (Windows) agent must be updated to version 1.2.13, the NDD - Printer Monitor (Windows) service to version 1.1.28, the NDD - Printer Monitor USB (Windows) service to version 1.1.18, the NDD - Computer Monitor (Windows) service to version 1.4.2, the NDD - Software Monitor (Windows) service to version 1.2.1, the NDD - Print Queue (Windows) service to version 1.4.0, the NDD - Thermal Monitor (Windows) service to version 1.3.6, the NDD - Thermal Monitor USB (Windows) service to version 1.6.7, the NDD - Supply Watch (Windows) to version 1.2.2, and the NDD - Queues Monitor (Windows) service to version 1.0.1, as instructed at Update the agent or gateway on portal.
Update to Microsoft .NET Runtime and Microsoft ASP.NET Core Runtime versions (Agent: DCA and Cloud Connector)
Starting with this version, the agent will automatically install version 8.0.21 of Microsoft .NET Runtime and Microsoft ASP.NET Core Runtime on Windows environments if these components are not present or are outdated.

Change to the NDD Orbix Help Center URL
