Error code 8039

Failure

The log from the NDD - Computer Monitor service recorded error code 8039 (OperationalSystemInformationException).

Cause

There was a failure collecting information from the computer's operating system.

Solution

Check the operating system for pending updates, as instructed below:

1. Click on the Start menu

2. Click on the Settings submenu

3. In the left-hand side menu, click Windows Update

4. Click the Check for updates button

5. Follow the instructions to install the available updates, if any

Make sure that the operating system is working correctly.
