I can't add a user to a unit

Failure

I'm trying to add a user to a unit, but they don't appear in the list.

Cause

This may be happening for two reasons:

  1. The user already belongs to the maximum number of 5 units.

  2. The user has Admin permissions.

Solution

The user already belongs to the maximum number of 5 units

A user can be added to a maximum of 5 units. To add them to a new unit, you must remove them from one of their current units and then add them to the desired unit.

The user has Admin permissions

Users with Admin permissions have total access to the portal and cannot be assigned to units. To add them to a unit, you’ll need to remove their Admin permissions and assign specific permissions.
