Failure
Even after correctly configuring the assignment rules, the user is viewing devices they should not be viewing.
Cause
This may be occurring for two reasons:

The assignment rules are configured incorrectly.

The user belongs to other units that grant access to these devices.
Solution
Check which units the user belongs to:

Go to the Administration > Users menu

Click the name of the desired user to open their properties

Go to the Units tab
Go to each unit assigned to the user and review the assignment rules.
