View scheduled supply replenishment by delivery location

Who can use this feature

Users with the Admin or Generate scheduled replenishment permissions

When you click the View by delivery location button in the view by device, you will be taken to the consolidated view by location.

Unlike the view by device, this view groups requirements by delivery location and product, consolidating the quantities.

To return to the view by device, click the Back button.

Columns in the view by delivery location

The view by delivery location organizes the data into the following columns:

Customer

Customer associated with the delivery location.

Site

Site associated with the delivery location.

Delivery location

Name of the delivery location where the supplies will be delivered and stored.

Device type

Device type associated with the supply, whether printer or thermal printer.

Product type

Type of product required for the period.

Color

Color of the product required for the period.

Product

Manufacturer and product model initially suggested by the system.

To estimate a different product and recalculate the required quantity, click the Replace product button in the view by device.

Capacity

Total capacity of the supply in pages (for printers) or meters (for thermal printers).

Information

If the product has no capacity or if it is undetermined, the value displayed will be 0.

We recommend forcing the capacity or forcing the product, when necessary, so that the required quantity of supplies is correctly calculated.

End alert

An visual indicator that displays as Critical when the end date is earlier than or equal to the scheduled replenishment date.

Total completion

Consolidated estimated end forecast for supplies (active + available at the delivery location).

Available balance

Quantity in pages (for printers) or meters (for thermal printers) available for the delivery location in question, considering the items that have the device as their source in inventory and those already in use.

Current balance

Quantity required in pages (for printers) or meters (for thermal printers) for the period.

Average efficiency

Average supply efficiency.

To change the efficiency and recalculate the required quantity, click the Edit efficiency button in the view by device.

Average coverage

Average supply coverage.

Replenishment days

Desired number of replenishment days.

Current balance

Quantity of supplies available in stock at the delivery location.

Replenishment demands

Quantity of items required for replenishment.

The replenishment demands forecast in the scheduled replenishment are generated for the source device in question.

Safety demands

Quantity of items required to maintain the safety stock. This value is calculated automatically based on the registered rules. If no rules have been defined, the quantity will be set to 0. However, you can manually enter safety stock demands in the forecast by editing the quantity.

The safety demands specified in the scheduled replenishment are generated for the delivery location in question and are not linked to a specific device of origin.

Final requirement

Total quantity of supplies required for replenishment and safety stock during the period, taking all demands into account.

💡

Example

  • Product balance: 5

  • Replenishment demands: 30

  • Safety demands: 10

The final requirement will be 35.

All changes made to the scheduled replenishment directly impact the final requirement, including:

  • Product replacement

  • Editing the average pages/meters

  • Editing the efficiency

In addition, you can manually adjust the final requirement:

These changes automatically update the consolidated final requirement value.

Below the grid, the total number of customers, sites, delivery locations, pages required, and meters required for the scheduled replenishment are displayed.

Actions available in the view by delivery location

The view by delivery location allows you to adjust estimates, simulate scenarios, and, finally, generate the demands. The changed data will be reflected in the view by device.

Changes are not reversible; to return to the initial values, generate a new scheduled replenishment with the same filters.

Additionally, edits always apply to the last value in the table.

Edit quantity

To change the final required quantity of items for safety demands, enter a value between 0 and 10,000.

In scheduled replenishment, select the delivery location you want to change and click Edit quantity.

When you enter the new quantity and click the Save button, the required quantity column will be updated.

The adjusted quantity will affect the Final requirement column, but will not affect the Safety demands column, which will remain at the original number for auditing purposes. As a result, the Safety demands column may show a value that is lower or higher than the Final requirement column. In this case, demands will be generated based on the value shown in the Final requirement.

To change the quantity of replenishment demands, access View scheduled supply replenishment by printer.

Export forecast

To export the generated scheduled replenishment to a CSV file, taking into account the filters applied.

Generate demands

Once adjustments are complete, click the Generate demands button to generate the safety stock and/or replenishment demands displayed in the views, in accordance with the final requirement. After generation, the schedule will be automatically updated to reflect the planned demands (stock to be received), and, consequently, the final requirement.

All generated demand forecasts will be available for viewing in the Supplies > Demand planning menu. To manage demands, access Monitor printer supply demand planning.

Close

When you click the Close button, the forecast replenishment will not be saved. To view it again, you will need to enter all filters and generate the forecast replenishment.
