Instructions
-
Go to the Installations > Services menu
-
Click on the desired service to open its properties
-
Click on the Settings tab and Printer search
-
In Printer search, click on the Start button
The search for the USB printer connected to the computer will start. If the printer is already registered, the system will force data collection, ensuring immediate synchronization of information.
If a search is already in progress due to synchronization settings, you cannot start a new search until the current process is complete.
When the printer search is complete, a message will appear below indicating that the device has been found and the Start button will be reactivated to signal completion.
Note
It is not possible to interrupt the USB printer search.
During the search, you can navigate the portal without interrupting the process.
After the search, the printer found can be viewed in the Supervised printers tab.
The Supervised printers tab displays:
-
the printer currently linked to the service;
-
the printers that have been monitored by the service in the past.
This behavior is necessary to maintain a history of devices that have been monitored by the service.
Example
A service linked to Client A was monitoring Printer X. After a change made by the provider, the printer began to be monitored by a service linked to Client B.
In this scenario, the printer will continue to be displayed on the Supersvised printers tab of both services, preserving the monitoring history.
If necessary, you can delete the printer to remove it from the tab view.
