Generate manual printer supply exchange

A manual exchange allows you to manually record the replacement of a printer supply in the portal.

Warning

This configuration is valid only for conventional printers.

Who can use this feature

Users with the Admin or Edit Printers permissions

Instructions

Generate an exchange based on the currently used supply

  1. Go to the Monitoring > Printers menu

  2. Click the name of the desired printer to open its properties

  3. Click the Supplies > In use tab

  4. Locate the desired supply

  5. Click the ⋮ button at the end of the row

  6. Click Generate exchange

  7. Click Confirm

Generate an exchange based on supply readings

  1. Access the Monitoring > Printers menu

  2. Click the name of the desired printer to open its properties

  3. Click the Supplies > In use tab

  4. Click the type of the desired supply

  5. Click the Readings tab

  6. Locate the desired reading

  7. Click the ⋮ button at the end of the row

  8. Click Generate exchange

  9. Click Confirm


In both cases, the exchange will be generated immediately, based on the date and hour of the action, the supply’s final indicators, and the indicators recorded at that time.

The manual exchange will be reflected in other areas of the portal in the same way as an automatic exchange, such as reports, stock write-offs, and other related processes.
