The installed drivers will be used in the print queues.

Instructions
Prepare the driver file

Access the manufacturer’s official site for printers

Download the driver
Warning
The driver must be a printer driver and must be digitally signed by Microsoft.
If the driver is not signed by Microsoft, during installation, select the option Always trust software from “…” and click Install. If you click Do not install or close the dialog box, the error The supplier of an Authenticode(tm)-signed catalog is not trusted will appear, because the software is not signed by Microsoft. In this case, run the installation again, select the option Always trust software from “…”, and click Install to continue with the installation.

Locate the driver installation folder
Depending on the manufacturer, you may need to run the driver to extract the installation folder. -
Verify that the installation folder contains the .cat and .inf files
These are essential for processing the driver on the NDD Orbix portal.
Information
To verify the driver’s digital signature, follow the steps below:

Locate the .cat file

Right-click on it

Click Properties
-
Click the Digital Signatures tab

Check the Signatory Name field to identify the company responsible for the signature

Compress the driver installation folder into a .zip file
The NDD Orbix portal only accepts files in this format for driver uploads. -
Confirm that the compressed file does not exceed 300 MB, as this is the maximum allowed size
Register the driver on the portal

Go to the Print queues > Drivers menu

Click on the ✚ button in the top right corner

Select or drag the driver file

Click on the Save button

Wait for the file to finish uploading
If an error occurs during registration, review the guidelines in the Prepare the driver file section and confirm that the file meets all requirements.
When you delete a driver, it can no longer be used in the NDD Orbix portal. Only drivers that are not linked to print queues can be deleted.

To view the print queues that are using the driver, follow the steps below:

Click on the name of the desired driver to open its properties

Click on the Print queues tab
By clicking on the name of the print queue, you will be taken to its properties and can change the linked driver if you wish.
