Update the DCA and Cloud Connector agent and services version via the installer on Windows

The DCA and Cloud Connector agent and services can be updated in two ways:

  • Via the NDD Orbix portal (recommended): allows you to centrally update agents and services on multiple clients and computers.

  • Via the installer: updates the agent and services only on the computer where the installer is run.
    We recommend using this option only as an exception.

Update via the NDD Orbix portal

Access the documentation below to perform the update via the portal:

Update via the installer

  1. Download the DCA and Cloud Connector installer file:

NDD_DCAandCloudConnector_1.2.20.exe

  1. Run the installed file

  2. Select the desired language and click on Próximo

  3. Click Next on the installer's home screen

  4. Enter Proxy settings if it is required, and click Next

  5. Click Install

  6. Select the desired update option and click OK

Note

The first option will cause the service to be stopped while the update is being performed, and started after the update is completed (we recommend selecting this option).

The second option will cause the service to run with the old version until the computer is restarted.

  1. Wait for update and click Finish
