Linking categories makes it possible to organize and classify software according to criteria defined by the organization.
Software registered automatically by reading the DCA and Cloud Connector agent do not have an assigned category and therefore need to be categorized manually.
Software registered manually has a category linked to it during registration, but the category can be changed later.
Who can use this feature
Users with the Admin or Edit software permissions
Instructions

Go to the Monitoring > Computers > Softwares menu

Click on the desired software to open its properties

Click on the Info tab, if it is not there

In the Category field, select an existing category from the list

Click the Save button
