Change alert identification name

Allows you to rename alerts to make them easier to identify in the system.

The new name will be displayed wherever the alert is used, such as

  • rule creation;

  • open alerts;

  • alerts in processing;

  • closed alerts.

Who can use this feature

Users with the Admin or Manage alert rules permissions

Instructions

  1. Go to the Settings > Warnings menu

  2. Click Open under the Alert identification option

  3. Locate the desired alert

  4. Click the ⋮ button at the end of the line

  5. Click Open

  6. In the Identification field, enter the new name for the alert

  7. Click the Save button

To restore the alert’s default name, simply delete the contents of the Identification field and save the change.
